General Overview

Slumbering Feline is a single-player, one-shot game featuring a feline-themed story. Step into the shoes of Momo, who finds herself lost in a strange dream and trying to escape from her slumber.

Slumbering Feline is currently available on Windows & Linux via Itch.io and Steam.

Story

Waking up in an unfamiliar world, Momo is equipped with the mystical gear she’s always desired.

Momo will explore, battle enemies, discover weak points, find the key, and make a daring escape. Can Momo find her way out of this dreamscape?

DLC: Slumbering Feline - Starter Pack

Slumbering Feline - Starter Pack is a paid convenience DLC that adds optional early-game bonus resources for players who want a smoother start.

The pack adds a Stray Cat Toy Box near the starting point in every new game (including Nightmare mode). Each box contains:

• 50x Magic Stone
• 25x Star Stone
• 1x Random Celestial Rune

Starter Pack can be enabled or disabled from Main Menu > DLC before beginning a new game, so players can choose whether to use the bonus rewards.

DLC: Slumbering Feline - Nightmare

Slumbering Feline - Nightmare is a paid challenge DLC for players who want a more intense version of the base game.

Nightmare mode upgrades enemy behavior with tougher stats, faster movement, quicker respawn, and deadlier attacks. Players must also manage the new Nightmare Mark effect, which gradually reduces Mental Health over time.

The DLC introduces exclusive progression options, including new Celestial Runes such as Moonlight (reveals nearby Nightmare Weakness) and Nightmare Antibody (immunity to Nightmare Mark), while also increasing Momo's rune slots from 3 to 4.

Nightmare is unlocked after clearing the base game once and owning the Nightmare DLC. It can then be selected from New Game on the main menu.

Hi! This is Raditz, one of the creators behind Slumbering Feline. My team and I are thrilled to announce this new game, blending a short story collection with unique gameplay elements.

In Slumbering Feline, we've introduced a scan or shutter-style combat system, where you attack enemies in a distinctive, non-traditional way. Although this is a one-shot story, we hope to continue building on its world in future installments.
